On April 21, 2015, Varian Medical Systems, Inc., Wilmington, Delaware, United States has informed us according to Article 21, Section 1 of the WpHG that via shares its Voting Rights on MeVis Medical Solutions AG, Bremen, Germany, have exceeded the 3%, 5%, 10%, 15%, 20%, 25%, 30% and 50% threshold of the Voting Rights on April 21, 2015 and on that day amounted to 73.52% (this corresponds to 1337995 Voting Rights). 73.52% of Voting Rights (this corresponds to 1337995 Voting Rights) are attributed to the company in accordance with Article 22, Section 1, Sentence 1, No. 1 of the WpHG (German Securities Trading Act). Attributed Voting Rights are held by the following companies under its control, whose share of the Voting Rights in MeVis Medical Solutions AG amounts to 3 percent or more: VMS Deutschland Holdings GmbH, Varian Medical Systems International AG, Varian Medical Systems Nederland BV, Varian Medical Systems Nederland Holdings BV.
